In a cycle there is no one source, nor one destination.

We can see it this in nature, more readily so in the seasons, in the water cycle, and in entire life cycles. Ours. Perhaps even those occurring on an planetary or astronomical time scale. The cyclic nature of things makes it possible for the efforts of even a handful of people to have an impact on the world. Every act matters in an interconnected and cyclic system. The time frame for it be perceived may be longer, maybe several generations or more. But down the road, and indeed back up the road, it will or did matter. The impact of every thoughtful act which is intended to make the world a better place will be felt by someone or something.
